Chimaera is a science-fiction story, spanning over a 600-year period of time, starting from the year 2002. The year 2002 is known as “Receiving year”, as that year mankind receives a massive message from an extraterrestrial civilisation, holding databanks of all of their advanced technology along with a cry for help.
But humanity, drowning in its own greed, fell into a third world war. During this war, some allied nations created expendable soldiers from alien DNA received from the extraterrestrial civilisation. This race of warriors was called the Chimaera.
They were meant to be slaves of war, but the knowledge of genetic engineering and the alien DNA was not advanced enough to keep them shackled for long.
The graphic novel follows, how this race of warriors, surrounded in mystique, secrecy and meaning, has a lead role in the future of mankind and the entire galaxy.
